Team Manager, Elwyn Morgan, commented: I must congratulate all the squad in the way, generally, they battled, even if at times they did not quite succeed. The will to win was, I think, epitomised by the RAPD team, who only having won 2 out of 7 games on the Saturday, came back to win all 5 on the Sunday. We did manage to beat the SE Region 6-3 in the last round and thus prevent them from winning 3 years in succession. Regrettably it was not quite enough to enable us to take the crown.
